Running wild
Tiri and Jordan loved that Stennack Farm provided them with the blank canvas to make their own, and enough outdoor space to really feel at ease.
‘We had quite a few children attending, so we wanted them to be safe running around freely outside without worrying about them. At Stennack Farm the children were so happy running wild.’
As somone with a keen eye for aesthetics, Tiri’s stylistic vision for the day featured warm neutral tones.
‘I’ll admit it, I’m a Bridezilla, all my guests were sending me screenshots of outfits to check I was happy with the colour of outfit! I love a mood board and mine was full of beige, browns and dusty pinks.’
A Perfect Set of Suppliers
Photographer
Katie Goff perfectly captured the beauty of Tiri, the love between her and Jordan and their children, family and friends, and the relaxed, fun atmosphere of the day.
Hair stylist
‘I find it so hard to find a hairdresser to cut and style my curls so usually travel to London to have my hair done. So, finding a hair stylist I could trust was very hard. Then I found Sarah who owns BlewBelle (Cornwall Curl Specialist) and she made my curls pop! Then hair by Heidi (@hairbyheidi) did all my bridesmaids’ hair.’
Makeup artist
‘My makeup was done by Bronte Randall @makeupbybronterandall – I wanted the soft glam look keeping my skin glowy so my freckles were still visible.’
Flowers and florist
‘Perdie’s Flowers absolutely smashed the warm neutral tones. The flowers were beautiful and Perdie worked with our budget and made our mood board come alive.’
Transport
‘Sticking to the warm neutral tones, I really wanted a beige car. And one day whilst flicking through Instagram I found the perfect car in the background of a photo; it was a Zodiac. So I hunted down the owner and it was Neil, the owner of Philps bakery. He was an absolute legend and agreed to drive my dad and I to the venue. It was chucking it down with rain on the way but it didn’t matter. Just to have that moment of calm in the car with my dad was so lovely.’
Entertainment
‘Archie Ray played our walk in song ‘Best Part’ by Daniel Caesar. Then while the room was getting changed around we had Pete Hamilton play a set, then Archie Ray played another set and lot of people were up and dancing.’
‘Then, for the evening we hired Daniel Costin and he knew how to get the party started, we had guests getting low on the dance floor, Jordan and I were up on the tables and the atmosphere was pumping.’
Catering
‘It was very relaxed. Flour Power pizza van made our pizzas, so we called it Margheritas and Margaritas. We didn’t just have Margarita pizzas, there were BBQ Chicken, vegan Pomodoro, Spinata.’
Margheritas and shots of margaritas were followed by Mr B’s ice cream.
‘I have worked for Mr B’s since I was 13 years old, so I loved making the ice cream for our own wedding.’
Tiri and Jordan chose: Chocolate sorbet, Tiramisu, White Chocolate Truffle, Wild Cherry Ripple, Vanilla and Mint Choc Chip. Delicious!
Cake
Amanda at The Willow Cakery created the cake of Tiri and Jordan’s dreams: a floating two-tiered rectangular cake.
‘We wanted it to look like marble but matte with cracks.’
Favourite Part of the Day
Tiri and Jordan’s first dance to ‘Never Too Much’ by Luther Vandross played by Daniel on the sax was their favourite part of the day. Everyone joined in the dancing, and carried on until the very end. What perfect, fun, party vibes!
Top Tip for Future Couples
‘Maybe have a sober person put the lawn games out for us because it was raining when we arrived so they were away out of sight, then by the time the sunshine came out we were too drunk to remember we had them! Oops!’
Lasting Memories
‘The staff were amazing, the drinks selection was fabulous, the strawberry daiquiris were my favourite and the venue was just perfect for our day.’
Tiri and Jordan were married at Stennack Farm in May 2022. We loved being a part of their beautiful day!
