Rustic and Beautiful
When Mollie and Sophie started planning their wedding back in 2020, they knew they wanted their wedding day to feel relaxed. As big country music fans, they also loved the idea of something rustic and beautiful on its own. Then they discovered Stennack Farm. They knew as soon as they came in, even though the venue build was still being completed. Mollie and Sophie could imagine their wedding at Stennack straight away and didn’t need to go and look at any other venues.
Sophie has a big family and they both knew that the wedding would have quite a few people, so Mollie and Sophie wanted to make sure there was plenty of room for everyone to mingle outside. Also, of course, it had to be dog friendly for their boxer Sancho and Frenchie Erni!
The style of the wedding was mostly down to Mollie. Sophie’s only stipulation was sausage rolls and cider! Mollie dreamt of a boho theme with lots of terracotta colours.
‘As the wedding was in autumn, we also wanted lots of autumnal colours. Stennack lended itself perfectly to this as the wooden vibe matched our ideas perfectly.’

‘We had sausage rolls during our drinks reception … Bray’s & K’s brought Sophie’s much needed sausage rolls and everyone loved them! By far one of the best decisions we made!’
Mollie and Sophie knew they wanted pizza at their wedding and found Kernow Forno on Instagram. After finding out the flavours on the menu, they couldn’t not have them!
‘Kernow Forno supplied us with the BEST pizzas ever and kept everyone so full, despite wanting more! The best wedding food ever!’
There was also a cake and sweet table for dessert and burgers and chips in the evening from a burger van. A wedding that knows how to cater for its guests!

Wedding Attire
Mollie wore a dress found at Wed2Be after going shopping with her mum and sister.
‘My sister spotted it in the window and said I had to try it on, despite it not being the style I thought I wanted. Nevertheless, as soon as I put it on, I knew it was the one!’
Sophie wore an all black outfit, featuring a Ralph Lauren jacket, something she couldn’t wait to wear!
‘We carried the terracotta theme through to our bridesmaids and had them all wearing multiway terracotta dresses from Etsy. The guys wore traditional tuxedos from MossBros.’
Photographs on the Beach
One of Mollie and Sophie’s favourite parts of the day was escaping to the beach for photographs after the speeches. ‘It gave us time to relax and really take in the day!’
‘The amazing thing about Stennack Farm is that it is only 15 minutes from the beach! We spent over an hour just being together and having photos, and we honestly would never change that! Hardly anyone knew we had gone and we now have the most amazing memories!’
‘I don’t think there is anything we would do differently, maybe eat more because I think we both forgot to keep stopping to eat!’
Perfect Wedding Backdrop
Stennack Farm provided the ideal backdrop to Mollie and Sophie’s perfect day. Their family were all dotted around enjoying the sun and listening to music. People were playing on the grass and everyone just enjoyed being away from day-to-day life, savouring the peace and quiet and surrounding rural beauty.
