Why we chose Stennack Farm for our wedding venue
Stennack Farm stood out to us in particular because of how beautiful the setting and surroundings are where the barn is. The venue itself and the accommodation / facilities are outstanding and so reasonably priced for what you get.
How we wanted our wedding to look in terms of style and aesthetics
Our theme was rustic elegance and we feel that Stennack was the perfect place for this theme as the barn is a great canvas for you to decorate the barn however you like. We wanted the day to feel romantic while still being relaxed.
Our perfect selection of suppliers
Emily Rose Events Hire got the decor exactly as we wanted/imagined it to be, and Little Eden Entertainment supplied the large Mr & Mrs letters.
Our florist was Joy Groombridge, who made my beautiful bouquet as well as my bridesmaids’ bouquets, buttonholes and the sweetheart table floral vases.
Where we found the perfect dress
My wedding dress was from the Bridal Studio in Helston, who were so helpful in trying to find me ‘the one’. I ended up with a stunning dress that had beautiful detailed beading on the sides.
Our amazing photographer
Our photographer was Huw Briscoe from Unfold Photography, who was the best photographer we could’ve asked for. We had a meeting where we discussed the style of photos we wanted and what the plan of the day was, as well as a pre-wedding shoot, which was all included. We ended up with the most amazing photos and we couldn’t be more happy with them. We couldn’t recommend anyone better than Huw to anyone looking for a photographer. He is so friendly and you feel relaxed and comfortable around him. You don’t even realise he’s there most of the time.
Our caterers and all about our wedding food
Our caterers were Buen Apetito, who we chose because we saw they had done another wedding previously at Stennack, which looked amazing, as well as this they were very friendly and flexible. Our menu was Italian-inspired with an antipasto starter, lasagne and chicken, pancetta and mushroom risotto for mains, with a trio board of brownie, cheesecake and orange cake for dessert. They also did our evening buffet, which was a selection of burgers and nachos.
Our cake was made and decorated by Lou’s Cakes, which was a chocolate cake with tempered chocolate butterflies.
Dancing the night away
Our band was Go Go Skank, which is a 80s/90s band.
Our favourite part of the day
We wouldn’t be able to pick a favourite moment as we loved every second of the weekend and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Jordan went above and beyond on our day to help it flow smoothly and she did a fantastic job. We had the best day!
