Why we chose Stennack Farm for our wedding venue
We have been together for 15 years, so when we finally had a date in mind we knew what we were looking for. I’ve always wanted to get married outside in the country. We researched online and looked at a few venues. The day we came to Stennack’s open day last October I instantly fell in love and knew it had to be Stennack. We booked it that day and gave ourselves six months to plan everything.
We were over the moon with the accommodation/ facilities, and being able to celebrate our wedding over a full weekend with our loved ones so close was perfect.
How we wanted our wedding to look in terms of style and aesthetics
The venue itself is beautiful but also gives the opportunity to make it your own by adding your own style. We wanted a rustic laid-back wedding and Stennack was perfect for this. I loved the outside space, looking out at the stunning surroundings and could imagine our aisle on the beautiful lawn area.

We were over the moon with Martin and Max. They were fantastic from start to finish, Martin listened to everything I was hoping for and did an exceptional job. Not only have we got fantastic photos to look back on, we have a four-minute montage video of our day. We also have the full wedding ceremony, all our speeches, first dance and amazing drone footage.

Chef Ondine Hartgroves of Hart of the Valley
Ondine’s grazing table was on another level. It was so incredible I didn’t want anyone to touch it, and to be honest it tasted even better. The table consisted of our favourite buffet foods including roasted meats, cheese boards, charcuterie, dips, Spanakopita, spring rolls, salads, breads and fruits.
Baked by Kerris
Kerris made our beautiful wedding cake and it was outstanding. Not only did it look amazing, all three layers tasted delicious: Chocolate, Lemon and Coffee. Kerris also made our beautiful wedding biscuits. We had so many amazing comments.

They were fantastic, they had the dance floor full from the moment they started until the third ‘one more’ song. Our guests said it was the best music at a wedding they had ever heard.

Mandy went above and beyond to make our day so special, she learnt all of my favourite songs, she sang me down the aisle which was so special, and sang beautifully after our wedding breakfast.

Sophie took such amazing care of all my bridal party, from my two-year-old niece to my ninety-year-old Nan, Sophie’s make up was outstanding and I felt amazing.
Little Eden Entertainment
We were so well looked after by Little Eden, from sweet carts, doughnut walls, photo booth, bouncy castles and Mr and Mrs light up letters. They were so professional and made the whole process so easy for me. They helped make the venue look perfect.
Finishing touches
Our amazing families helped us bring our vision to life as we decorated Stennack ourselves. From centrepieces, table plans, signs, wedding favours, the aisle, homemade confetti to flowers and bouquets.
My extraordinary Dad made our beautiful wedding arch, postbox, noughts and crosses game, table plan and welcome signs from pallets, and my very talented Mum and Grandma helped me make all of our table flower decorations, bouquets and buttonholes. It really was a family affair.
Our favourite part of the day
I can’t pick a favourite part of our wedding because we had such an incredible time from the moment we arrived at Stennack on the Friday to the moment we left on the Sunday. I would love to do it all again.
